Moving History Onward

His entire life, Bjorn had lived with the expectation that one day he would make a truly unique and important addition to the world. At the age of eighty, with hip freshly replaced, he determined to make it happen. After weeks of pondering and formulating and vice versa, he felt satisfied and ready.
Calling his family and initiating a tape recorder, he said:

“BLIP.”

The family scratched their heads as he thought, Yes blip, and blip it is! Hallelujah blip!
That night he fell asleep content, for his existence had finally been justified. He had crafted his own importance in history.
